I have always been a creative spirit. When I was a child my Mum would feed me cardboard and sellotape, my imagination would turn them into cardboard spaceships, cardboard suits of armour and anything else that could be classified as having a Sci-Fi feel to it. As I got older in life I explored other creative endeavours, eventually I settled on a career in Graphic Design, a well founded technical skill was the perfect accompaniment for my creative outlets. More than happy working with paper and paints as I am pushing a cursor around the screen. My most creative work can even be produced through mostly non digital methods.
Further on in life I returned to some of my childhood creativities, turning my hand to making Sci-fi props, 3D chess sets and time machines. With age I came across a new found patience in the way I bring my ideas to life. Rather than rushing to complete a project, I take my time and see the project through to its end properly.
Not satisfied with my current creative pass times I was eager to try my hand at other mediums, woodwork, leatherwork, bookbinding, film & digital photography are to name just some of the new skills I have taught myself.
In turn, all the things I create tie back into my love for Graphic Design pushing my self on to greater things.
Regards,
